Platform Overview
Three applications. One system.

CareSolis is a three-layer platform: the Solis hardware device, a caregiver PWA, and the Care Circle coordination network. Each component is purpose-built — they don't work alone.

Caregiver Application
PWA · React 18 · Supabase
CareSolis caregiver app three operational states

Real-Time Operational Dashboard

The Daily Interaction Ring provides immediate visual state: emerald segments for completed check-ins, amber for grace periods, rose for action required.

Built as a Progressive Web App. Works on any device, installs to home screen, supports offline queueing. FDA Class II compliant with immutable audit trail.

Medication management with 2×25 blister pack system, LLM-powered conflict detection, and auto-MAR generation
RTM billing module with auto-CPT assignment (98975–98981), provider time tracking, and compliance dashboard
Routine Stability Analytics — 0-100% consistency scoring that differentiates bad days from developing patterns
Multi-patient support with facility-wide views for home health agencies and care coordinators
Solis Device

Purpose-Built Hardware

The Solis device combines patient prompting, timed dose access, and event confirmation in a calm, familiar form. Premium home appliance aesthetic — designed to blend into a nightstand, not look clinical.

Passive infrared detection means no button presses, no app interaction from the patient. Critical for dementia and cognitive impairment patients.

Ambient LED communication — emerald, amber, rose — visible across the room without being intrusive
24-hour battery backup with watchdog MCU, tamper detection, and 4,000-event offline log buffer
USB-A and BLE 5.0 for future RPM peripheral connectivity — BP cuffs, pulse ox, glucose meters
Care Circle Network
Escalation · SMS · Finite Alerts

Multi-Tier Escalation Architecture

The Care Circle is the human coordination layer. Three escalation levels, each with configurable contacts, notification preferences, and quiet hours. Maximum 3 escalations per 24-hour period per household, with cooldown periods.

Level 1 — Primary
T+25 min

Single priority contact notified. SMS + push + email. 15-minute response window.

Level 2 — Secondary
T+40 min

Priority 1 and 2 contacts notified. Coordination begins.

Level 3 — Broadcast
T+55 min

All Care Circle members notified. Event closes — finite escalation.

Time-Critical Medications: Patients on anticoagulants, insulin, seizure meds, or cardiac drugs trigger a compressed 35-minute protocol with no grace period.

Caregiver Application
Everything a caregiver needs. Nothing they don't.

Five core screens: Summary, Meds, Messages, Analytics, and Settings. Each designed for fast decision-making under real conditions.

Dashboard States

Daily Interaction Ring

24-hour clock face showing every scheduled interaction as a color-coded segment. Emerald = completed. Rose = missed. Amber = grace period. Gray = upcoming.

Next Care Moment displayed with countdown
Dark theme default with light mode toggle — designed for nightstand glances at 3am
Solis Device
The patient never opens an app.

The device is the entire patient interface. Ambient display, passive detection, controlled dispensing.

Calm Ambient Interface

Time, weather, personalized greeting. The patient sees a friendly home device, not a medical monitor.

Personalized greeting: "Good Morning, Mrs. Green" — dignity and familiarity built in
No complex menus, no settings, no passwords. Intentionally minimal patient surface
Controlled Dispensing
Medication Tray

Timed Dose Access

Medication tray presents the correct dose at scheduled time. Pre-filled by pharmacy in 2×25 blister pack format. All events cryptographically timestamped.

Cartridge seat detection confirms packs are properly loaded
Door sensor micro-switches verify tray closure — every open/close is auditable
